A warm welcome

My name is Flor Tamara, and I live in the forest on a small farm with my beloved husband and five children. Our quiver is full, so every day is an adventure, filled with activities, challenges, and lots of joy.

It's a privilege for me to have the opportunity to stay home, raising my children, taking care of the house, growing our food, and attending to any activity that arises on the farm. I am a fervent lover of God's creation, and in my free time (and the few escapes I make during the day) you'll find me taking pictures of my flowers or any visitor (bird or insect) that happens to wander into the garden.

By the grace of God, I am living this life I never imagined; far from the desert where I was born, learning to be the perfect helpmate my husband needs. Together we are a team, working diligently to care for the inheritance He has given us.

It hasn't all been smooth sailing, and at times it's been difficult to fulfill the roles of mother, wife, and homemaker. Several times I've had the desire to return to my profession in food science. 

Being a homemaker is a ministry far better than any lifestyle I could have imagined. God is not mistaken when He tells us that He knows the plans He has for us, plans for good and not for harm, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

So my dear readers, it is my desire to help you in this sometimes busy life to find peace and inspiration in whatever your journey may be; not with my own wisdom, but simply with the experience gained through trial and error over the years and with the help of our Lord Jesus Christ, in the light of his word.
